This 6 week online accelerated course is practical and effective.

Course General Requirements:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
     

  • Fluent in English. Oral & Written
     

  • Comfortable using a computer and learning new processes

  • 6 weeks online course/workshops/and training. 
     

  • No entry exam required 
     

  • No dental experience required 
     

  • Course includes the training with Tracker 11 , Cleardent and Open care software. (The most popular software in dental offices around BC).
     

  • Certification of completion.
     

  •  Evening classes. 

Hands-on lessons are designed and constructed for students who will gain experience with billing procedure codes. 

 

Exercises and assignments on how to productively readjust, balance and correct insurance payments and how to understand, rectify and troubleshoot with treatment plan rejection, explanation from insurance: preauthorization, predetermination. 

 

Participants will learn insurance breakdown thoroughly, comprehensively dental fee guide, insurance company rules and regulations, working with dual insurance claim forms, claims manually vs electronically, insurance and patient basic payment calculation. 

 

Students will get trained and practice on how to create a patient’s file, keep dental records, charting, notes, billing, appointment scheduling, how to book patients for continuing care (recall), pending treatment and waiting appointments.

Students will be taught on digital chartless format with the most popular Dental software in lower mainland: Tracker 11 , Cleardent, and Open Dental.
